He Will Keep Your Life

Today’s Reading: Psalm 121

Psalm 121:3 — He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.

God promises to watch over us. God never sleeps nor slumbers. His eyes are always open to watch over us day and night. God keeps us safe as we walk with Him.

The Maker of heaven and earth helps us every day in ways we are mostly unaware of. The Lord sees not only the natural dangers that come our way, but also the supernatural enemies that desire to harm us. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God are powerful protection from the fiery darts of the enemy.

The devil uses lies and accusations to attack our souls. The Lord has given us the truth and the blood of Christ to cover our mind and emotions.

The Holy Spirit reminds us of the truth of the Word we have received so that we will not believe the lies. The Holy Spirit prompts us to stand in grace and declare, “No condemnation! All of my sins have been paid for by the blood of Jesus! I am in Christ and I am a new creation! Old things have passed away and all things have become new!”

Trust the Lord to keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. Remember that today. You have a keeper, a watchman who is ever alert. Your Good Shepherd is ready to take on the lions, bears, and wolves that would take your new life away from you. They can never do that, but they can trick you into living your old life if you do not keep your eyes on the Shepherd and follow Him.

Lean on Jesus today. He will not let your foot be moved.
