Deuteronomy 33:18 — And of Zebulun he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out.”
In Genesis 49, we read about Jacob’s prophecies regarding his sons. Of his son Zebulon, Jacob said, “Zebulun will dwell at the seashore; and he shall be a haven for ships, and his flank shall be toward Sidon.” Now, in Deuteronomy 33, we read Moses’ blessings for the tribes of Israel.
“Rejoice, Zebulon, in your going out.” This blessing was for the people of Zebulon to prosper in their everyday lives. The men of Zebulon went out to sea to fish and to transport people and cargo on their ships. This was how they made their living and provided for their families.
Moses expressed God’s desire to be part of the daily life of the people of Zebulon. Isn’t this what God desires for every person? The Lord desires fellowship with every man, woman, and child, not just on Sunday morning at the church, but every day of the week — in the classroom, in the office, in the factory, in the kitchen, in the nursery, in the army barracks, in the prison, and anywhere else people live, work, and play.
Every time we go out, there can be rejoicing. Why? The Lord is with us. Even in the most mundane, ordinary activities of life, Jesus is there waiting to be found and invited to be part of every activity. Jesus offers the joy of His presence for every moment, great or small, and He will protect us every moment.
“The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore” (Psalm 121:8).

"Psalms 121:8 NLT
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever."
Every morning, I sit at my desk and meditate the word of God, and ask , please, give me a strength for today.
There are times when I feel absurd in order to apply His word. Sometimes, I am tired because there are too many words to read. As the years have passed, I have come to realize that the Lord has been protecting me even when I was unaware of it. The more I learned about the word of the Lord, the more I came to know His heart.
